About will
First and foremost I am an artist. I studied art for four years at Eastern Mennonite University(EMU) where I got a BA, double majoring in Photography and Digital Media with a minor in Journalism.
I was born in Syracuse, NY and have lived in the Central NY area my whole life. Discovering digital art in high school, I started moving toward a career in photography and videography.
After graduating from EMU I moved back home and have been creating video and photo work since. I work three jobs, full time at Expressway Cinema Rentals as a receptionist, remotely as an associate producer for a company called Start Motion Media, and for myself with work that comes up as it does.

I am planning on building my own business and Start Motion Media into my career, shooting and producing commercials and documentary styles videos. I also do professional photography, event, portrait, studio, product, etc.
My philosophy of art is that it is meant to say something, either about myself or society through stories. That is not to say that something made without purpose is not necessarily not art, but that if art is done well, it will have meaning. There is also an element of excellence involved. We, the artists, should strive to create complete and well done works of art. If the art work has to be explained then it has failed to properly communicate what the artist intended it to.
